CURAFLO® OF BRITISH COLUMBIA COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL WATER INFRASTRUCTURE REHABILITATION FOR NOVA VITA HOUSING COOPERATIVE IN VANCOUVER
BEACHWOOD, OHIO – CuraFlo® of British Columbia Ltd. (“CuraFlo of British Columbia”), a leading provider of pipe restoration services for multi-tenant buildings and other commercial and institutional structures, recently completed work to rehabilitate the water infrastructure system at the Nova Vita Housing Cooperative in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Located on Barnet Road and Duthie Avenue, the Nova Vita Housing Cooperative is comprised of two three-story wood-frame buildings with 28 apartment units per building. Each building is approximately 20 years old, and collectively, they contain a total of 7,500 lineal feet of hot and cold water piping. Over time, multiple pinhole leaks formed in supply lines that run through common areas and residential suites in both buildings.
CuraFlo of British Columbia was retained to implement a comprehensive repiping of the Cooperative’s water infrastructure system with a combination of copper piping and Wirsbo AQUAPEX® PEX tubing. Work began in July 2009 and was completed in November 2009.
